I really like watching Asian series more than the local ones. Why? First of all, they're short and the story doesn't go around the bush. I mean, like the usual Filipino telenovelas that we have. And secondly, I can watch 'em whenever I want! They're on vcds! Well, most of them. Anyways, I'm currently watching Wedding Bliss with Jang Nara and, sorry, I don't know the guy's name. It's actually about this couple who got married only after a few meetings. They first met on a blind date. The guy actually had a 'one love' who happens to be the girl whom he grew up with, his besfriend. Jang Nara, on the other hand, fell head over heels over him even if their status in life is very much different. The guy, who happened to be her husband's present boyfriend, was her ex. Well, they only had a 3-day relationship back when they were in London so, it's actually not a big deal. The bestfriend, well, she also loves her bestfriend back. For some reason, I'm still not clear on why they didn't end up together since the story started with her already with JN's ex back in Japan. To make things more complicated, the guy's mom got very sick at the middle of the story. Since the bestfriend grew up with JN's husband, it's just natural that she also became very close to his mom. Almost like her own mom since she was orphaned at a very young age. And JN's ex is her husband's workmate. The four of them really have only a small room to move around. I've seen the last few episodes of this series in KBS. Of course it ended happily but both parties underwent a lot of troubles and problems along. What's the most important thing in marriage, anyway? Love? Happiness? Trust? The feeling of someone cares for you or being relax? Ano nga ba talaga? I think there's no really one important thing in marriage. Everything goes hand in hand to make it work. I can't help but remember my bestfriend while watching this series. It's just too bad that I can't view his wife as Jang Nara's character. The bestfriend, moi? Nope! Although we're bestfriends, we always have this line when it comes to private matters. Well, I guess it's not much true right now since my bestfriend opted to keep me up to date when it comes to his marriage. And when they were in good terms pa, I opted to keep my distance with him. I think it's just natural to do. It's my way of respecting their marriage and his wife as well. To go back to the question, what's the most thing in marriage? I guess everyone would have a different opinion. As I believe that there's no one important thing, others might think differently. What's being married anyway?!

By the way, I was so pissed off yesterday when my brother told me that the Survivor:Guatemala finale was yesterday afternoon. pakshet talaga!! I was out the whole afternoon and he didn't even text me about it so I can set the vcr! kaines!! I learned tonight that Danni won. Danni's ok din since she's also tough. I mean, she't the last one from the Yasha tribe. Anyways, I still would watch the replay on Friday. kaines talaga!! It's the first time I missed the finale!! Later will be the Amazing Race finale, which reminds me, I need to set my vcr.
