please pray...

for my dog Girbaud. 

we had a vet come over our house tonight to pick her up for medical attention. since Saturday, she's really been weak, walking really slow and crying, like she's in pain. my sister's been really worried and restless since then. Sunday morning, i heard Girbaud crying and i called her name to make her know that i'm there since she doesn't wanna be touched. she would just cry even more. but whenever she's not, she was just sleeping silently, like in a very deep sleep, just like a patient sleeping after the pain's gone. the doctor said that her condition's caused by fleas, like a mosquito causing dengue. he said he had treated a dog with the same condition before and it get well after a week of treatment. i hope it would be the same with our dog. it doesn't matter how long, we all just want her to get well. she's old though, which would be a factor to consider when recovery's being talked about but still, i hope she would fight this disease or virus, whatever sickness it is, and come back. her daughter, our other dog, Replay's also waiting for her to be back. my sister opted not to look while she was being moved from our house to the doctor's truck; i sent her instead. i told Girbaud that she'll be brought to the clinic for treatment and that she should fight back to get well soon.

i know that i may be exaggerating but please, i'm asking for prayers that Girbaud would be able to recover. the more people praying, the more powerful it would be. she's been with us for 12 years already, more than half of my sister's age. but another lost this year, even if it's just a pet, isn't really good to our mental health. not after 2 deaths in the family, one from each side of my parents. plus, it's gonna be Christmas and New Year. i, we don't want any sad events. so please, please, join us in praying for her recovery.
