quickie

i have lots to post about but i don't have time.
just a quickie post...

sis woke me up an hour ahead of my waking time.
two of our kittens jumped over our front fence.
one prolly followed one of the mom cats and crossed the street,
while the other remained on the dry leaves and twigs on my mom's little garden in front of our house.

i tried to catch the one that crossed the street, Lytto, for the fear that it might get run over by a car.
but stupid kitten failed to recognize my voice and so it ran and ran and i had no choice but to try and catch it.
it went straight to the little garden, where i found the other kitten Lego.
Lego didn't give me a hard time and so i was able to catch it right away.
Lytto, on the other hand, put on a little show.
it tried to jump back over the fence but it was too little to make a jump as high as the adults.
it ran towards the gate where it tried jumping to go inside once again but failed.
i tried to catch it but when i found a chance to held unto it,
it struggled and freed itself from my hands.
as i was trying to catch it back,
i slipped, bruised my knees and sored my palms.
i even had small scratches on my left leg.
after Lytto got away again,
it ran across the street once more.
i stopped following it since a truck was gonna pass by.
i think it got more scared with the sound of it that afterwards,
it ran back to the front of our house.
i tried to catch it again but it ran to the vacant lot beside our house.
it was concealing itself on the branches of the tree that went down during the typhoon Basyang,
and was crying like a scared cat with nowhere to go.
i slowly went to it but it ran once more.
it went back to the front of our house where i continuously tried to calm it so i can catch it.
after a while, it must've recognize my voice, finally.
i was able to catch it and put it back inside our house.
Lytto was in so much stress, it stayed under the sofa for a while before coming out.
sis had the four kittens under the plastic cage so that they won't ran off again.
i should put a leash on them already.
they have their collars since a month ago but we want them to still have fun and play around w/o a leash.
but at this rate, since i already had their leashes prepared a long time ago,
i should have 'em tied.

so even if i caught Lytto,
i did it with a lot of scratches & bruises.
good thing i didn't bruise my palms or i won't be able to make meatballs later for dinner.
