Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix

je12_vz09watched it today with my family. damn! me wants to see the next one already! i always end up wanting more after watching each and every Harry Potter film and this one is no exemption. besides, i think this one is the 2nd shortest amongst the 5 films that had been released. or at least i felt that way. true, true. there were a lot of scenes that has been taken out. some details that i have wished and hoped were included. but i'm not the director and i believe JK approved of how OOP the book was edited.
what i was hoping to see that wasn't in the film...
> Ron and Hermione being prefects. i think this should've been included since for the first time, Harry felt a bit of jealousy because his bestfriend Ron beat him over sth for the very first time. well, not that he wanted to be prefect nways, but here, we can see how Harry tried to solve this jealousy feeling of his by realizing that he should be happy for his friend.
> the portrait of the mom of Sirius. i was waiting to see how they would have this shown in the film but unfortunately, this was left out.
> NO BILL!!! ok. i know Bill only had a very small part in the book but i was hoping to see him in the film since he's another Weasley. i mean, c'mon! Weasleys should be given importance too. their whole family's like involve in Harry's quest! except Percy.
> the members of the Order of the Phoenix weren't properly introduced. ohwell, there were actually 4 new ones shown in the film so maybe no intro was needed.
> the sorting hat's new song. because it's the first time, since Harry entered Hogwarts, that the sorting hat reminded everyone that they all should unite or they will fall in its song, i believe it was something important. like it gives more emphasis that Harry nor Dumbledore is lying. and that even the sorting hat can already 'feel' the presence of the dark lord.
> Cho Chang has a friend and that she was the one who squealed about DA. NOT CHO CHANG. i'm no Harry-Cho CHang shipper but i think it was unfair how in the film Cho Chang became the traitor amongst the members of DA. it's just unfair for her. yes, she was lonely and still have feelings for Cedric, but she's no traitor. too bad, she became one in the film.

i believe there are still a number of things that i would like to be in the film that i have forgotten. hmmm...
what i like most in the film...
> Luna Lovegod and the one who played it is a win! perfect! she's just totally what imagined from the book.
> how Ron took Harry's side in front of the whole Gryffindor students. that's friendship!
> how they comprise the events while Umbridge was the DAD professor/high inquisitor/headmistress. i don't think i can tolerate her much longer than what was shown in the film. goodness! pink all around!!! waaahhh! and her voice is just as annoying as what was described in the book.
> Weasley twin's show before leaving Hogwarts! love it! though i know, maybe, perhaps, i'll be missing them on the next film.
> the DA and their sessions. good thing that there were a lot of scenes for this. viewers are able to see how good Ginny has become. i believe she's gonna play a part along with the trio.
> the battle at the Ministry of Magic between Harry/Ron/Hermione/Ginny/Neville/Luna and the Death Eaters headed by Malfoy. though i wish it was more elaborated.
i always say that i hate comparison, i hate comparing things but for a change, i like GOF more over OOP. maybe my expectation about the new installment was just too high that i wasn't completely satisfied. i'm not saying that Order of Phoenix is no good. nope! it is good already. it's just that i think 30min. more of the film would be better. ohwell, it doesn't matter. i would still like to watch it a 2nd time. even a 3rd time. lol i'm just a big Harry Potter fan.

I thought the part where the giant picked up hermoine and after he puts her down ron was like "dont touch her!" was so cute (I love ron lol)
I was happy they put the writing in blood punishment in there cause I remember them debating on it before.
I wish they put the parts that you mentioned in too.
Oh and did they get a new Dudley? Or did he just rapidly grow from the last movie he was in? lol

re dudley, nah. it's the same dudley. he just grew up a lot more than dan in terms of height.
