i'm not sure when i'll be getting my own copy of F4's new album so i gave in and downloaded the whole thing. here's what i think (and feel) as i listen to the new songs.

Track 01 - 体 - Ti Yan - Goodbye
- a really sad song. i think it's a part of the OST of Zai & Ken's Waiting for You, along with No Escape. it's melody brings you back to all the happy, good old stuffs. i just hope they won't say this to their friends (fans). i mean, Goodbye. and the last few lines, it's usually Vanness who does this but for this song, it was Zaizai then Jerry. love it.

Track 02 - 在這里等你 - Zai Zhe Li Deng Ni - No Escape
- by now, we've heard of this song more than a dozen times already, most of all that the MV's out already (i wish someone will link me to a HQ ver). what can i say... it's the complete opposite of Ti Yan. this one's got a way faster beat. the chorus part is very catchy; it would definitely be an LSS to anyone who's listened to it.

Track 03 - 你是我唯一的執著 - Ni Shi Wo Wei Yi De Zhi Zhuo - Persistence of You
- this one's from Jerry's The Hospital. there's really nothing new for me to say since i've heard this song more than a dozen times already. but as what i've thought when i first heard it, Jerry did a really great job in singing this one. he really has proven the many that he's got the voice; he just needed some time before he can really release what he's got.

Track 04 - Listen to Your Heart
- i love how this song's got only an English title. i love, even more, how Vanness says, "Listen to Your Heart". if you're a harcore Vanness fan, you'll find how this song's like his the slower tracks of his previous albums. it's just that, the heartbeat sounds makes it a bit freaky. hehe...

Track 05 - 殘念 - Can Nian
- intro... violin. nice! you definitely know that this one's gonna be Zaizai's song just by the first few seconds. not at all slow song 'coz it got some beat in it, reminds you of one of his songs from his first solo album. there's just something i don't like about this song, the back-up vocals. i wish they also had Zaizai do it. not some random guy.

Track 06 - Ai Bu Ting Zhi
- this songs sounds like those kind of songs that is Ken-like. the guitar strum at the very beginning is very much like Ken's style. the beat, the melody, it's just lovely. the i bet the lyrics is just as beautiful & calming as the melody. listening to it while Ken's visit to Manila is still fresh snaps me out. Ken's a superstar, an Asian superstar and not some random actors picked to play in a local indie film.

Track 07 - 七天 - Qi Tian
- if the previous track sounds very much like Ken's style, this one sounds very much like Vanness' style. it's like its part of his V.DUBB or Scandal album. its beat & rap parts makes it sound very Vanness-like.

Track 08 - 白 - Bai
- ok, the intro, makes me feel like Zai's going back to his Prince-like image. i know he's trying to get away from it (and even had Wo bu shi F4 as his 3rd album's carrier single) but its sound kinda rewinds my memory back to the days when he's still new in the business. as the song goes on, you can perfectly imagine Zaizai singing this song - full of passion. the feelings are just burning that it's very much evident on his facial expression.

Track 09 - 無所謂 - Wu Suo We
- i think most will agree with me, if not all, that Ken's one of the 2 members of F4 (the other being Vanness) that has the voice from the very beginning. i love the way how he sung this song. reminds me of his Yi Ge Ren Hou from On Ken's Time.

Track 10 - 我沒有辦法离開你 - Wo Mei You Ban Fa Li Kai Ni
- a faster song than his Persistence of You. but just like it, it's full of feelings in it. it's another high-pitched song but Jerry did a good job singing it. i also like how soft the beat & melody are. it made Jerry's voice very much powerful.

as a whole, all F4 friends are sure to love this 3rd album. how can we not, right? we have waited for this for almost 5 years (or is it more?). i've listened to a lot of songs, from different Asian countries and i'm always amaze at how one song is very much distinct from the other that you can really identify if it's from Taiwan or Japan or Korea or a local one. F4, although they have released their own solo albums, amazed me all over again. i mean, having solo albums made me feel like there's no more songs to be composed that would sound distinctly as how their songs from the very 1st album would sound like. but nope, we are really blessed with gifted composers who don't run out of melodies that would keep their own image intact, inspite of the years that passed by.

to everyone who has loved & still loving F4, and to those who haven't listen to any of their songs as well, go buy a copy. it's worth listening. it's worth the wait for us F4 supporters.

and oh, in case you wanna see the MV of Zai Zh Li Deng Ni - No Escape (theme from Waiting for You), i have uploaded an avi & ipod version. i also uploaded the whole Waiting for You album. interested?
