our country is on National Mourning for 10 days
with the passing of Former President Corazon Cojuangco-Aquino at 3:18AM today.
she passed away after more than a year of suffering and battling colon cancer.
she was 76.

all Philippine flags around the country are on half-mass.
honorary salute were heard early this morning coming from the military camp here in Manila.

FP Cory C. Aquino was the widow of Former Senator Benigno 'Ninoy' Aquino.
she was also the First Female President of the Republic of the Philippines,
serving from 1986-1992.
